Associate Professor Dr. Ferhat Toper, a faculty member in the Department of Social Work at the Faculty of Health Sciences, highlighted the role of sociocultural values, social solidarity, and social service interventions in strengthening family ties. Toper stated that the family is not only a biological unity but also a fundamental social institution that provides education, support, and social protection, and made the following remarks:
"The family is the core of the social structure. Values are the binding elements that keep the family standing. In the face of today's social change processes, it is imperative to strengthen social policies that support the family."
