The Emergency Aid and Disaster Management Undergraduate Program Department Heads Coordination Board meeting was attended by our department head, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gürkan Kapıkiran, and our faculty member, Dr. Lecturer Ömer Demirbilek. Topics covered included the current educational status of the departments, the initiation of the National Core Education Program, the development processes of the core education program, quality and accreditation efforts, increasing simulation and practice opportunities, organizing congresses, strengthening department visibility, improving graduate employment opportunities, and supporting academic career opportunities.
